We advocate a multi-disciplinary approach when advising clients with more complex affairs and we are keen to work alongside a client's other professional advisors such as accountants, investment managers and independent financial advisers.

Richard Inston

Richard has practised as a Private Client solicitor for 7 years. He qualified as a solicitor and worked as a part of Bircham Dyson Bell’s Private Wealth team before moving on to Winckworth Sherwood.

Richard has experience in a broad range of private client work, including drafting Wills and trust documents, preparing powers of attorneys, administering estates and advising on inheritance planning.

Richard is an affiliate member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and holds the STEP Advanced Certificate in Will Preparation - the benchmark qualification for Will writers and the only advanced specialist qualification in the Will writing field.

Prior to qualifying as a solicitor Richard worked in the fine wine trade for a number of years and strives to keep his wine knowledge up to date.

The majority of Richard’s free time is spent wrangling his two young sons. When a free hour or two does present itself, Richard plays cricket for a couple of wandering XIs, enjoys watching all manner of sports and being out in the countryside.
